CREDO

Transforming Education, Empowering Futures

Flexible, inclusive learning pathways designed for every student’s success.

About us

Who We Are

At CREDO, we are a team of passionate educators dedicated to transforming the future of learning. We believe that every student deserves an education that not only engages them but also empowers them to achieve their full potential. Sadly, 1 in 5 students fail to complete Year 12, and nearly one-third are chronically absent from school. We aim to change that by providing flexible, inclusive learning opportunities that give students agency over their educational journey. Through digital resources, one-on-one mentorship, and interactive workshops, CREDO inspires both current and future learners to succeed.

Success Story

Our Story

At Credo, we believe in empowering passionate, aspiring young entrepreneurs and change-makers with a strong sense of purpose and agency. A few years ago, I was teaching a start-up business class when a student asked me if her product idea could be brought to market. She thought it was “good enough” but didn’t know where to start her entrepreneurial journey. Raised by a single mother who had always struggled to provide, her mother encouraged her daughter to pursue the entrepreneurial pathway as a route to independence and wealth creation, especially for young women. Despite my best efforts, all I could advise her at the time was, “Maybe enter a pitch competition and see if you can win some money.” But I wondered, was there something more I could do? Could I support her beyond the course? Could I connect her with an affordable business mentor? What sustainable and transformative support could I offer her? I realised that this challenge was common within the teaching community.

The Challenge

The Education Gap

Many students are disengaged from traditional schooling because curriculums often fail to meet individual needs. Teachers are overwhelmed with large classes and limited resources, making it difficult to innovate learning programs. Schools also struggle to provide alternative pathways for students who are frequently absent or resistant to conventional models. CREDO bridges these gaps by offering customised learning experiences and personal mentorship to inspire and guide students.

Our Solution

How CREDO Makes a Difference

Learning Platform

A diverse range of digital learning tools (aligned with the SACE Business Innovation curriculum) and physical workshops that can be accessed at school or from home. Students can curate their own portfolio of learning, giving them agency and flexibility to shape their education according to their needs and aspirations.

Mentorship Platform

We connect students with industry professionals and business mentors to help them explore future pathways. Whether it’s guiding them towards university, TAFE, or starting their own ventures, our mentors provide personalised support to build a portfolio for future success.

Events

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.

Why CREDO Matters

Empowering the Next Generation

With our digital platform supported by AI and personalized mentorship, students can explore a world of opportunities beyond the classroom. Whether they want to create a start-up, initiate social change, or find a pathway outside the traditional TAFE or university options, we’re here to guide them. CREDO empowers change-makers, future entrepreneurs, and students who need a new way to engage in learning.

The Credo Story

After collaborating with a colleague who specialised in Business Innovation, they shared similar experiences. In their case, the challenge was even more pronounced due to their rural location, which limited access to a wide range of mentors, particularly in specialised fields their students were exploring. Although they had some connections, gaps still existed in providing students with the crucial support and mentorship needed to develop their start-ups. This reinforced my belief that the existing system was inadequate in offering young aspiring entrepreneurs the comprehensive guidance they need to thrive.
In today’s world, despite the relentless efforts of educators, policymakers, and governments, it is increasingly challenging to provide young people with the individualised learning support and mentorship they need to realise their dreams. Too many young people get caught in debt traps and endless gap years, searching for a purpose that aligns with their passions and also sustains them financially. Career counsellors often push TAFE and University courses that may not offer fulfilling careers in shrinking job markets, misaligned with young people's values and identities.
Our Credo programs directly tackle these challenges by offering fully resourced, curriculum-aligned programs that enable educators to deliver engaging, life-linked learning. We host events for both teachers and students to cultivate the skills necessary for creating start-ups and launching ideas into the market, thereby creating jobs, futures, and lives filled with purpose and passion.
Credo programs inspire young people to embark on their own journey of self- discovery. By using entrepreneurship as a vehicle, we empower them with the knowledge, skills, support, and partnerships needed to develop innovative ideas that solve real-world problems. With the guidance of well-supported educators delivering authentic, future-ready curricula, we can truly shape the future, one youth-led idea at a time.
We also bridge the existing gap where students, after completing a course or entering a competition, are left alone to navigate their journey from idea to market once the grant money is spent or mentorship is exhausted. While business mentors and coaches are available, their exorbitant costs often put them out of reach for young people with limited funds. We offer a range of mentorship packages to support young individuals not only through their entrepreneurial journeys but also through life's challenges. We support young people with transformative ideas and provide them with the mentorship needed to turn those ideas into actionable strategies.

Agtech By Design

Zane had not planned on doing business studies at school until the Business Innovation teacher encouraged him to combine his passion for ag and 3D printing and do Year 10 Business Studies. The rest is really history. That year Zane changed subjects and competed in the Australian eSchool Shark Tank and won. Zane has ideated and then gone full circle back to his original product, the autonomous weed seeker. Zane has teamed up with his parents and Ben Pankhurst an IT specialist. Here is a little more about his company: We’re a group of Aussie farmers and engineers based in South Australia. With experience in viticulture, horticulture and broadacre farming, we saw a potential to advance technology in agriculture. We set out to build an ultra-versatile targeted sprayer designed for use behind tractor trailers, threepoint hitches and even Unmanned Ground Vehicles. By designing our Artificial Intelligence in-house we control our development process, and stop relying on expensive third-party AI models and can pass on the savings to you.
